Falcon Engineering Production’s Chris Green is now the proud owner of a £4000 MX-6 mountain bike, courtesy of WNT (UK)’s charity raffle held at this year’s MACH exhibition. The raffle raised over £1000 for Cancer Research UK.
Many of the parts on the UK designed and manufactured MX6, including the frame and swingarm, are machined using WNT tools, with WNT working closely with Empire Cycles and its sub-contractor, Merlin Engineering, to fine tune the design before it went into full production.
“;While there may not be many mountains in Birmingham, where Falcon Engineering Productions is based, I am sure that Chris will find plenty of opportunities to put the MX6 through its paces. Thank you to all of the visitors to WNT at MACH 2012 for their support of this raffle,”; says Tony Pennington, Managing Director, WNT (UK).
Every visitor to the WNT stand at MACH had the opportunity to enter the raffle for the bike, which was specially painted in WNT’s corporate colours by Empire Cycles., with the winning ticket being drawn after the exhibition had ended. Chris Green took delivery of his prize at a presentation at WNT’s Technology Centre in Sheffield.
